CHUCK JOSEPH

New Zealand born, educated Auckland and London. Graduate of the University of Auckland with study in Anthropology and Literature.
Chuck Joseph co- established EDGE CITY art studio in Westmere, Auckland, NZ, and also works in Mangere Bridge.
Chuck’s ceramic sculpture is often based on historic events while other work has elements of true experience and myth blended, story telling being core to his work. A student of mythology and symbolism, his painting and sculptural ceramic incorporates his extensive knowledge of ceramic history with a fascination with popular culture, both historic and current.
